Production Update: October 2026

Hello everyone!

It’s been a while since I posted one of these, mostly due to the positively blistering amount of work we’ve had recently. But this month is pretty odd, so I wanted to let everyone know where things stand. The month is very late but nonetheless we do have releases coming, so let’s take a look at them.

Russian Towed Guns

Firstly, earlier this month Jesse finished a set of light towed guns for the Russian Empire. These are finished and are awaiting supports and test printing, but I can show off some images of the models.

C-47 Albatross Gunship

Secondly this month we’re releasing the long-awaited update to the US dropship, the new and improved C-47 Albatross. This is a complete, ground-up resculpt, but will be provided as an update for those of you who already have the Starhawk.

This version is much more optimized for actual use on the tabletop, with a much smaller footprint and more useful features.

Partisan Saboteurs

Lastly, this month Jurre is working on the Partisan Saboteurs. This set will consist of partisans themed around more blue-collar work, like miners and dockworkers. Expect sturdy jackets, overalls, and gruff determination, along with a good amount of dynamite.

There are some questions about timeline for this set, so it’s possible that it will be delayed until next month. In that case, we’ll be releasing two updated sets.

Russian Tank Extensions

The St. Dmitry and St. Georg are both receiving resized hulls, extending them to fit better within our new aesthetic direction. If you’re a fan of the old ones, don’t worry; those will remain in the old sets, but moving forward, our sets will be proportioned more in this fashion.

In addition to the extra length, spaced armor sets will be added, allowing you to upgrade your vehicles even further. This is done in part to represent the close doctrinal relationship between the Russian Empire and the Holy Roman Empire, and spaced armor will be a throughline with all subsequent League factions.

Final Thoughts

Communication in this way is often more difficult personally than it probably should be. There are a tremendous amount of things happening behind the scenes here at GDG. (Some of which are the reason releases this month are so delayed) Plans for next year are already exceeding my wildest dreams for how the game could grow, but that’s difficult to see from the outside. For that, I apologize. One of my continual efforts is attempting to improve communication, but so far I haven’t succeeded. We’ll keep trying though, so until next time:

Keep Marching On!

- Jackson
